A reader writes that there is a rumor that Miami-Dade County will soon consider creating a height limit on manufactured housing: two stories and 25 feet. Any truth to this? Such a limit might prohibit affordable housing similar to what Alex Gorlin presented at the recent ULI townhouse panel: modular and prefabricated townhouses or low-rise multifamily.
