Lecture by Rabbat

From UM: Nasser Rabbat is director of the Aga Kahn Program for Islamic Architecture at MIT, which is dedicated to the study of Islamic architecture, urbanism, environmental and landscape design, and conservation, and to increasing the visibility of Islamic cultural heritage in the modern world.  Professor Rabbat will discuss Modernism, Islamism and the Question of Identity in the Architecture of the Arab World.  Friday, April 9, 2010, 6:00 pm, Glasgow Hall, 1215 Dickinson Drive.
